Movement Therapy follows a similar format to physiotherapy using a comprehensive movement assessment and then exercises (in this case, Pilates exercises), stretches and equipment to change movement patterns, rehabilitate injuries and increase strength and flexibility with the aim of decreasing discomfort.
Sessions are held 1:1. The first appointment is used for your assessment - this will take about an hour for the consultation and exercises.
The following six sessions are half an hour each. We will go through Pilates movements and stretches specifically tailored to your needs and you will be given homework to do for the week.
Our aim is to get you moving easier with less pain, more strength, flexibility and comfort.
Each Movement Therapy session includes a short assessment of the exercises from the week before to check your progress, work on new exercises for the coming week and time for questions.

I originally came to Chloe for the Movement Therapy sessions as a precursor to starting the regular Pilates classes with her. I had done some Pilates in the past and wanted a refresher course. I was interested in getting more movement through my ribs, shoulders and lower back as well as strengthening my core and hips.
I definitely found an improvement! I thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and found Chloe very professional and motivational.
