How many times a day do you “workout” without realizing it? Whether it’s bending down to pick up the laundry or loading groceries into the car, your body is constantly moving—why not make those moments work for you?


Every little moment is an opportunity to engage your muscles and improve your posture.


Some sneaky ways to activate your core:

  • Brushing your teeth Stand tall, engage your pelvic floor, and keep your ribs aligned. Try doing calf raises or balancing on one foot to challenge your stability.

  • Loading groceries  As you bend, make sure your pelvis and spine stay aligned— Keep the stomach pulled in to protect your lower back, bend through the knees, not your back.

  • Walking through the house  A

    ctively engage your glutes and use your core to maintain upright posture as you move.

  • Bonus Round Do all of the above while hoovering, mopping or changing the sheets!
