The Core Is More Than Abs—It’s an Orchestra

Let’s bust a myth: your core isn’t just your abs. It’s an entire ensemble—deep, layered, and meant to play together.
Think pelvic floor, transverse (middle) abdominis, muscles that run along the sides of the spine, obliques, glutes… even your lats are in on it. It’s not a six-pack—it’s a symphony.
How to train it well:
Start with the breath. If you’re not breathing, your core’s not firing optimally.
Layer stability before mobility. Can you hold the shape before you move through it?
Think integration, not isolation. “Zip up from the pelvic floor” or “press into the mat with your ribs” hits differently than “tighten your abs.”
When the core works together, your whole body moves better—more stable, more powerful, more graceful.
Want stronger abs? Train the system, not just the surface.
